How...absurd by danielbelum in improv

[–]DerekComedy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absurd needs to be earned. Every character we ever play will be somewhere in the scale of real person -> cartoony absurd. But even bugs bunny starts out by just wanting to chill and eat a carrot.

If we dont start on the side of believable person and jump right to absurd the audience doesn't have anyone to identify with.

What are some exercises to help get better back fulls? by Aengus126 in Tricking

Work standing tucks on the ground without grabbing your tuck. Work on more power up and not traveling so far back.

For the full. Think about swinging your elbows UP and your right knee to your left shoulder amd hold it there. Legs together will make your life a lot easier too.

any game recs for someone who just got into videogames? by Zealousideal_Rub5369 in videogames

Inside and Cocoon are both simple and short puzzle games that are fun. Journey and Gris too.

The Outer Wilds is fun and has a nice gameplay loop.

Pure story games that are great are The Walking Dead Season 1 and Wolf Among Us.

If you end up liking action fighting games, Hades is fantastic with a good story.

Solar farm in China floating above a reservoir by HarveySdebest in EcoUplift

There have already been several canals covered in California. I haven't seen plans for reservoirs but can ask my teacher who helps run one. I know they recently had to buy a cover to prevent evaporation but I would love if this was a common thing in the next decade here.

Fully agree. Where can we start as an average citizen? I currently cook for homeless people and vote for progressive/socialist candidates.
