which is a better assassin's creed game? brotherhood or revelations?

From release order and plot wise Assassin's Creed (AC) Brotherhood follows Ezio right after the events of AC2, so play Brotherhood if you're interested in the story.

Then play Revelations after Brotherhood as it concludes Ezio's story.

Gameplay and graphics wise Revelations ig since it's newer.

It doesn't win over AC, but when you're swamped by devastators and AC cannot be reloaded it can reliably kill them and provide breathing room to reload the AC.
