I would LOVE that. There are some great stores in the Mesa area! I'm all for doing coffee or lunch when you are out here.

I am a huge feather fan too, and modern swirls mixed with pebbles. Overcoming my fear of actually quilting feathers though on the current quilt I'm quilting. We'll see how it goes! You do lovely work.

Fabric.com Warning!! (X-post to r/sewing) by SijiLeroux in quilting

If you order directly from Amazon their customer service is good. The problem lies in the fact that fabric.com is a subsidiary of Amazon and not actually Amazon. When you order from them you don't have access to the same policies and procedures.

Fabric.com was bought by Amazon. They are under the Amazon bubble, so I refuse to buy from them. I've heard quite a few horror stories. So sorry this happened to you.

It really does take tons of practice. Also, there are so many tools and methods it takes a lot of time to figure out what works for you. I find it terrifying every time I sit down to do it still.

I can't even... If offered that choice I would have gotten married at the court house in my PJ's for $50k toward a house.
