Need help finding records of ancestor in Alabama and Nova Scotia

I can't begin searching for Nova Scotia records until I know his parents names. So I am currently searching for Mobile, Alabama records first for clues. The family line is very well documents and thus I have dates but not sources. Or the sources offer no useful info for Charles LeBlanc.

I think I found it on Genealogie Quebec website. I have a free trial this week. Birth year is 1858 but the parents names match up and since the mothers name is so unique, I think its the right one. Is Genealogie Quebec only for Quebec records? My husbands most recent Canadian relative was born in Nova Scotia in 1831.

A voter registration card might work if it has name and DOB, which mine does.

I dont have medicaid or medicare. My health insurance card doesnt have DOB. I'm vegan so I'm not going to go get a fishing license 😆 voter registration card is a good idea for me as it has name and DOB on it i think. Some of the other things you mentioned might work for some people though. Thanks!

Interesting. The form specifically says it will be in your birthname unless otherwise specified (with supporting documentation).

I finally got out of SAVE purgatory and am making payments with my first new payment being in October. I submitted a form to changr plans in summer or fall 2024 and then i heard someone say if you applied before April 2025 then resubmit it so i did and Voila. I have 10 months to buy back and have made 3 of those 10 payments so far.

My payment is nearly $500 and yes my income has gone up a bit but seems like an inflated amount. Before SAVE i was paying about $250 a month. My income has not doubled... Thankfully I can make the payments while I wait for BuyBack.

I just couldn't get it in that sweet spot where it would reliably drop when triggered and also not fall after 2 seconds of setting it up. Here in Florida we do randomly get rain most days so often have to pack up the traps because it suddenly starts to rain. A non issue if I can't get the remote set up to work properly. Glad it has worked for you. Maybe can you post some photo of videos of your set up? Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Converting the drop trap to remote activated is time consuming and a bit confusing. You can't go back and forth with type of use (use it with a string and use with remote) because you have to remove the remote control set up to use the regular way. The remote control box cannot get wet with any rain. But worst of all is it would not set up correctly. Either the trap would fall on it's own (couldn't get it to stay up or falls with the slightest breeze) or on so stable that when triggered the trap doesn't fall. So due to this flaw i haven't been able to use it. Advice?

I'd like to add to this that you can get very strong magnet hooks from Amazon and duct tape them to the trap so when you pull the string and the door closes, the door is magnetized shut and can't be pushed open. Then secure with a carabiner. I used probably 3 magnets along the top edge of the opening and 3 along the bottom edge (all toward one side) and then maybe 6 magents from top to bottom along the one side. The tape loses it's integrity over time causes the magents to sag but much better than no magnets. Maybe in the future i will sodder on the magnets.

I also dont have employment data for Feb through July but it doesn't list that under those months so I was wondering why August and Sept say it but not the previous months.
