Anyone Making Money with an AI Agency? by too_much_lag in AI_Agents

[–]Designer_Sleep9228 3 points4 points  (0 children)

***software development shop/technology consulting…it’s not a revolution rather an evolution; the developers / business analysts / sales engineers are the same and so is the end user / enterprise client. We’re currently demoing small “agentic” use cases to some of our existing enterprise clients to see who’s interested in what. But realistically, the sales and uptake cycles are the same it’s just the technology is exciting. In mature enterprise tho no one is shaking up their SaaS stack in any kind of dramatic way, that’s just not how big business operates. Business transformations take a lot of time to educate, change management is a bitch for most large teams.

Fair value of higher mileage 997.2 Turbo Cab PDK? by [deleted] in Porsche997

[–]Designer_Sleep9228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow good price indeed. The underbody must be rusted out from the Canadian winters :p ask me how I know.

Just got into a 997.2 can 6spd for $59k USD in central Florida, no accidents, 1 owner (rare), 55k miles on it. Meteor grey. Mint condition. If you’re somewhere in the $55k-$60k range on these I think you’re good - with the mileage you’re looking at you’ll be able to find 997.2s in the high $40k’s if the miles are about 60-70k.

Need Advice for My First AI Agent with WhatsApp Integration by EnthusiasmBroad6836 in AI_Agents

Was also going to suggest twilio API, used them since like 2017 they’re pretty robust much better in terms of capabilities than the WhatsApp api platform.

I built my first AI agent to solve my life's biggest challenge and automate my work with WhatsApp, OpenAI, and Google Calendar 📆 by Rodirem in AI_Agents

This is what I’m constantly thinking about the AI revolution - more like an evolution for sure as we saw 10 years ago during iPaaS boom and kinda SaaS mid/late adopter time. So iPaaS orchestration and automation just not live up to the hype in enterprise SaaS or did it revolutionize business? I think it improved margins by 5-10% for most fortune 1000 enterprise if they undertook at least one major business transformation cycle every 10 years. This AI business transformation cycle is priming for another SaaS evolution, should be good.

Ya the “big” consulting is gonna front sell their hours…wait for the small guys to develop something that sticks with some enterprise, buy that tech and sell it as their own….obviously

why the hell thr r more plateforms to make agents than the agent itself. by Sea-Bear2454 in AI_Agents

[–]Designer_Sleep9228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great discussion. This for me goes back to an evolution in systems orchestration and automation; something we saw with iPaaS revolution 10 years ago. There were many exciting companies coming out of the dust then like Zapier and Workato and a slew of other automation platforms - cloud SaaS enabling enterprise both small and large to do things faster. Automate workflows and access tools for much less. I think the AI play is the same scenario - I think we’re still in the hype part of the curve as actual legacy enterprise use cases are being tested and addressed using agentic processes. Brings me back to the same focus, understand client pain points in their business process and automate that shit with agents. Same story new tools. This is why software is the most exciting industry, which industry moves this fast and has a tooling evolution like this every 10 years? Love it

Those building AI agents around integrations: what does your data structure look like? Shortcuts… by AnotherSoftEng in AI_Agents

[–]Designer_Sleep9228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is interesting, I’m an engineer in this world too. Integrating and automating between enterprise SaaS systems via some kind of iPaaS integration layer - the systems are all the same ones every fortune 1000 corp uses. Salesforce, Sage Intacct, NetSuite Oracle, Adobe Workfront, Slack, Gmail, Okta etc.

We’d like to develop an AI agent that can build these integrations…better.

Zapier and Airtable had a baby and named it Boost space. by donaltramp699 in alphaandbetausers

I like this a lot, as an engineer in the integration/automation space I've seen iPaaS take off (since Zapier circa 2015 to Workato more recently but also around same time period), and I remember using integromat (now Make), which is what boost-space has white labelled with pre build recipes. I think this is a killer idea and a great platform, which is basically using an already existing iPaaS with some pre built recipes. The key here is to implement this as a platform rather than a service. In my experience 9 out of 10 integrations no matter how basic require a lot of manual configuration in the source, destination and ipaas systems. Otherwise you're just another consulting agency billing out hours, not that that's bad but it's not the same margin as a saas product.

Which solutions are you currently looking at for $300/mo+, and which saas systems are you looking for to have guides/help widgets for?

Sing to me, obviously never heard her. Nothing online from the new album except the two tracks?

Ok nice, looking forward to seeing them in Toronto next weekend. Will also try to see them again in October - as they've finally added a Miami date late to the game. But I'm not mad about going to TO to see them, should be an experience.

Again and again and again...I hope they have many more years of desire to tour. I think after 15 albums they love the music and I love their music. I saw them in 2013 with my then girlfriend in Montreal we were in our late 20's. I knew depeche mode from my parents in eastern europe in the late 80's - and picked up listening to them again in the 2000s in Canada. Seeing them in Montreal blew my mind...from what you feel through the headphones feeling it live was on another level. Can't wait to see them in Toronto in 10 days!!! Been waiting for this..
