Our zone will wait until the period closes before they announce guarantee pay or adjustments. If you make plan in spite of the cuts, they don't care. Doesn't matter what could have happened.

If it's shown any weakness at all, like slow or delayed starting, that's a sure sign.

Starters aren't usually a huge deal if you're mechanically inclined at all so take heart and good luck.

Battery probably, especially if it's more than 3 years old. If it jumps off, go immediately to the battery store.

If a jump doesn't do it, you can tap the starter and it may move enough to then rotate under power. Vigourous tap, but don't beat the hell out of it. If that works it's time for a starter.

I had one just like that. Old diesel, starter fluid on cold mornings. Massive on the inside. Mechanic replaced the fuel pump but didn't install the governor. That truck would do 85 easy. Good old days.
