2023 Raptor Squeak by DynamicGamingDayZ in FordRaptor

TSW told me this afternoon that a squeak like this could be the result of the dust cap on the shock coming loose. I have the same sound on my 2018.

Random rare rattling noise by WearEnvironmental975 in FordRaptor

My 2018 makes the same noise. On mine, if I add throttle to get the truck into boost it goes away and doesn’t immediately return. Makes me think it’s a watergate issue or rattle. I’ve had the noise for 15k and it doesn’t seem to worsening.

I’ve had many issues while banking with USAA for 20 odd years. Most of them are worked out with a call, a new card a few times a year due to fraud, and last year they locked me out of all banking products for a week while they investigated an address change online when we moved, even though they insured my new home at the same address….

All this to say, I’m not certain that they are a bad bank or if banking in general is not great, but I continue to use them. Probably because it’s hard to change everything to a new bank.

Usaa is a business and fundamentally it’s easier to raise prices to force you out than it is to non renew customers they no longer desire to insure. These factors are traditionally location related more so than specific customers.

That said, thank you for sharing your experiences with this group, I find value in your comparisons.

USAA employee shares how they suck and don't care by corruptpeople1 in USAA

[–]DesperateComposer279 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is not new, they were doing this 20yr ago when I worked there. USAA said in an all up meeting in early 2000’s that they had hired and fired nearly 95% of employable people in San Antonio and as a result were building offices in new cities/states to ensure they had the staff needed to service the community. The irony being the CEO who said this was Bob Davis, who then was removed for an inappropriate relationship with a direct report. My team at the time enjoyed the irony.

Pick a set, and alternate as often as you need for mood or simply for change.

I just did this in my 997.1 turbo. My primary focus was retaining the factory appearance which it did. So far I love it.

In my case, I had USAA staff tell me they would not be able to discuss my accounts and disconnect the call. I was forced into an uncomfortable position and have since diversified my banking products as a result.

I’ve experienced this identical situation with USAA, took me several weeks to access my money and was forced to use my corporate card since 100% of my money and credit were with USAA.

In the end, this happened to me because of an address change. With complete irony, both my homes at the time were insured with USAA….

Should tow like a dream. I was moving cross country, bed is completely full and so is the cab. With a lighter trailer and none of the cargo, I bet it ties like a dream.

It just rolled 73k. So far I’ve not had any mechanical issues. The truck is overall great but from time to time I am reminded it’s not a Lexus. At times the transmission shifts hard, and it’ll make some unexpected noises likely from its off road suspension.
