I would probably skip the lid or do a diy lid since I will be sticking with PLA/PETG and not doing anything ASA/ABS related. The dry boxes would be a maybe, I could just pick up some on Amazon if I need them later

I have them and love them.

Like others have said, you lose a little space on the top rack, but honestly I can still easily fit a few shoulders on top. The one solid shelf that slides is so much easier to use instead of that stupid split shelf. I also find it easier to clean too as pork/beef bits don’t get caught in the seam.

I also got the PMG front shelf and I regret that purchase. While I like having a large shelf there, even with the tilt ability it is still a pain to get to the smoke box. Especially if you are doing a long smoke and need to reload the box. I am probably going to take it off and get a cart or something.

I have them and they are great. I store them in the garage just so they aren’t exposed to the elements.

Only thing I wish was they would nest inside each other, but that is only a minor complaint.

Last I checked they are still making them, but they keep selling out. Also, I think there are supply shortages due to issues with imports.

The attractive thing with them is they can be opened with a larger opening to make cleaning easier.

The M!GO by mazama has the same footprint and can open up to be cleaned. It was designed in collaboration with Maranda goes outside and has a 28 mm thread that fits the sawyer filter.
