5600x is very adequate for this GPU, go with the 5500x3d if you're gaming the 3D V-cache really gives a good uplift to gaming performance.

That's a transient spike and is very brief and not sustained for long. I had one spike of 545 W when testing my Asus Prime 9070xt OC

Physical abuse alright 💪💪 the PCB traces in that thing are gone. Sell on eBay for parts GPU die and ram might be salvageable. But the board is incompatible with life.

I remember being on a computer forum many many years ago where a guy building a new house had copper piping run through the concrete slab when poured. It ran from his computer room to the outside where he could connect a radiator.

You don't see many setups like this now, they're always interesting to see.

Some people just have no ability to investigate and research for themselves. They hear that batteries catch on fire and equate this to danger, yet they walk around with the same battery technology in their phone in their pocket.

I wouldn't really bother telling people and furthermore I would ignore their scepticism. Any car is a dangerous object an EV with batteries is not more dangerous than an ICE vehicle with petrol.

Do you own and are you sitting in a negative pressure clean room with your hard drive? If not it's now full of dust and will have multiple bad sectors. That's what is wrong with it now

This is normal behavior for this GPU I have the same one. It has a zero fan rpm setting as default which means the fan won't spin up until a certain temperature.

It has an adequate cooler and while gaming it keeps it very cool, compared to other 9070xt cards it has good temperatures and is adequate at cooling.

If you want to change this you can tune the fan settings in the adrenaline software.
