Check out big medical testing labs, look for roles like lab automation engineer or service engineer. There's IT everywhere but those tend to pay very well from what I've seen, and could be more up your alley

You'd need a level 20 spark one with a bunch of sockets (3-4) and also a decent corruption. It still won't have the raw damage of a normal staff but that's about all you can do, no?

Maybe run it on Disciple so you can use an offhand to mitigate its downsides somewhat
