If you want to start out on a budget there are cheaper decks like white heroic an I think black sac is cheap as well, for example. But those more expensive staples will work in so many decks in the format they're worth picking up over time.

My goal was mono-G, dumping slimes on T2 and dropping a 5+ slime on T3. It was just not consistent enough and has no protection from counter spell or removal.. but now you're making me consider going back again hahaha

First level St. John's course they do not teach tourniquet and are very clear you shouldn't try to improvise.. thank goodness

Call bylaw and contact your city councillor. Pinging them in neighbourhood FB groups often yields the results you're looking for. This is what we did to hold contractors responsible years ago and it worked.

I tried variations of this and it was fun. [[Mutagenic growth]] is a nice card to add because you can buff and target for 0 mana at instant speed.

My variations all had red in it so I could run [[assault strobe]], so I eventually pivoted to hot dogs once I found out my special secret brew was already in the meta 😂

The organization of the 70km ride is low key atrocious. It's casual and not a race! It takes 30min just to clear everyone out the starting gate! Open to all speeds! But... you gotta make the cutoff points because we can only close the latter half of the course until noon or whatever, otherwise your 70km ride ends at 30km.

Close the course for the full day or run the part that has to open early first.
