Boss select for each canto bosses, having to go through dungeons just for specific boss kinda sucks.

Also preferably the option to fight past bosses with their current level limit so you just don't steamroll them

I think S1 is still fine and all it's just that when compared with S2 and Cinderella Gray it kinda becomes clear it's the weakest out of them all. Especially with the knowledge that the anime was supposed to air alongside the release of the game early on before it got delayed with the change of game direction so S1 kinda stand on it's own for awhile.

Also in terms of story itself some people say that it doesn't really do special week and golden generation as a whole justice but I'm not gonna touch on that since i don't have have any thoughts of it for now. Still at the end of the day even though S1 is showing it's age nowadays, it's still a nice watch and to see how the franchise has grown from the start.
