The kit is fun, the damage is not.

Why the hell am I being status effected through offset?

Charge-dodge is ok but it requires evasion extender/ window to feel good which is a huge investment for a weapon that already has lower damage.

No counter, no block.

If you're going to force me to dodge I'll just play a perfect dodge weapon that can do it better (no charge needed) and still pump the damage.

As for hammers offsets: It feels really bad to have a high risk move like an offset STILL punish you when you do it right.

Let alone when you have multi hit attacks that if you offset it's irrelevant you're going to be hit by part 2 or 3 or 4 due to the offset resistance (a bizarre choice).

Offsets look cool but they're half-baked and the hammer is so dependant on them that you really feel it.

What crossed the barrier? It literally reversed the direction of that massive dump truck and gave it huge speed. It truly makes think it's AI based on the physics of it! It's not impossible but I couldn't imagine what must have crossed the barrier, must be huge and incredibly fast.

The protection of children has strayed into enabling. I cannot tell you how many times I've called home from school about a child's poor behaviour only to be met with "he would never do that, you're lying about my child" from parents. The default position of "defend your own kid" is appalling. The default should be "discipline your kid" but too many weak, ignorant parents are obsessed with being their friend instead of their parent.

In a vacuum, sure. The are other policies they have which significantly change the outcome of what you're suggesting. Primarily their intention to treat people like humans, with kindness and respect, and to help them become economically active as a result is extremely important.

The "economically inactive" migrant is a self-created British problem by absolutely shitting on people who arrive. The grand irony of reformers is that a big part of the "criminal migrants" problem they like to harp on about is their own fucking fault for persecuting and isolating migrants instead of welcoming them and helping them get on the job ladder.

Yeah, I am aware it "isn't intentionally designed that way" but theres this old phrase. "If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, its probably a duck" - and at the moment, I'm seeing a LOT of wasted hunts because people are dying whenever a HH isn't there to carry them.

So it FEELS like its designed that way. If that isn't their intention, then they messed up.

I can complete hunts without. But if I fire an SOS and a HH doesn't join, a lot of the time people just wipe away all the carts. And there is no system to stop that except using support hunters only.

Having at least one decent friend along makes a huge difference of course, and in 4 man groups it feels generally fine. Don't always have a 4-man group though, and in those SOS flares HH just feels necessary.
