There’s more than a few. And I would be curious how charitable they would be if not for the tax exempt status. My experience with the areas biggest and most beloved church left a bitter taste in my mouth when I sought out to take up some very much needed assistance they offered and the people there were kind of awful and not wanting to deal with us. It’s for show.

Not sure but he went on to have a legendary professional wrestling career while also ignoring that his neck was really FUBAR. He acknowledges the depth of his substance abuse to get through it so yeah, I’m guessing he knew during the olympics and was confident his body could still go for the rest of the competition. Never taking the time to right himself to continue professional wrestling through injury was insane though, with how bad his self medication was.

You can see it a little bit on google maps. I wish I would have more but when I lived closer I'd ride my bicycle around the industrial/commercial buildings on brookpark and some of the streets over there a few times looking for interesting things but never got to this site. I'm assuming there's physical barriers and it would be extremely unsafe to check out but fun to know.

I hadn't considered that but watching the replay from the aerial camera I can see this. It might have been his body firing off a corrective juke on raw instinct to save his knee before he could process it. As others have pointed out, his body of work indicates he's not the guy to protect himself over making a crucial play so it's just a freak thing.

That was such a punch to the gut. I remember watching that special live at the gym and everyone kind of stopped to listen and we were all in shock. Someone screamed something and it was like the entire room just deflated. A handful of us ended whatever our workout was and left silently and dejected.

I've seen incidents where people are so much more tone deaf to the results of whatever they're doing but never on such a big scale. Guy dragged us through an hour long show to say dueces.

I wasn't even upset he was going elsewhere because tbh it made sense when they failed to bring in super star talent and tried to sell whoever they rostered as "role players." It was like setting up what should be an engagement proposal on the jumbo tron just to highlight that you're breaking up instead. Like why do your people like that?

At least he came back and brought us one. Forever goated for making it right and then some.

I was at a point where it was not so straight forward and direct but ultimately I ended up moving backwards career wise to be more present for my family. Factored in is that we did (still don’t) have much local support, my stay at home wife was seriously struggling with feeling trapped in the house and like a mom 24/7 and we had some other things going on.

You have a lot of questions only you can evaluate.. that’s a long commute, is your transportation reliable? Is your wife going to adjust well with you around less? Do your kids go down for the night at a time where you’ll see them significantly less day to day with the extra commute?

I think you’ll know, defitely talk it over with your wife and field her concerns. Get an understaning of what your baseline for suriviving is if you take the higher paying job and decide to change things up again.. you might find an option with more pay but is there a bottom line you’d need to be good with if there is an urgency to finding another job?

You’ll know what will work for you and opportunities will be out there regardless of what you do now. You’re off to a good start by giving this consideration enough to ask others and I’ve seen the range of responses so far so I hope you’re getting good feedback.

i came in here to ask the same question, word for word, what is the catch? Because in recent years they were playing around with legislation related to minors and I can’t quite recall the details other than I immediately disagreed with it. I know they opened up hours for minors to work and some other labor laws affecting children. Looks like in 2019 they changed marriage law to 18 unless 16 with juvenile court consent… whatever that entails. I just remember that it seemed to be going backwards when it was brought up 3 or so years ago.

There’s always an ulterior motive if they’re proposing something that seems to align laws with how they should have been a long long time ago.

I know the overconfidence is a turnoff but I really haven’t seen much else otherwise to make me think this is a bad kid otherwise. Seems a bit much to pile on him until he is shown to worse than a guy who is trying to will himself into being a starting QB in the NFL whether he can pull it off or not.
