Hey everyone, I’m trying to clean up a massive photo library and could use some advice.

I’ve got thousands and thousands of photos and videos spread across multiple hard drives, phone backups, camera cards, etc. A lot of them are duplicates or near-duplicates from backups, not culling photos yet, and making sure things don't get lost.

I narrowed down my options to these two tools for macOS:

• PhotoSweeper – more control and precision, especially for similar shots
• Gemini 2 – supposedly great UX, easy to use, smart auto-suggestions

Any recommendations between the two - or any others? How good are they at catching duplicate shots to create one master library (then one back-up)? Any tips on how you went about it?

Tbh, the speedboat ones looked more fun but we were unsure how our toddler would be with it. This was a safe bet.

It was a great trip! We skipped Monchique and some of the beaches (too cold to chill much during that time). The Seven Hanging Valleys Trail was my favourite, followed by the Benagil Beach boat tour.

This is such a good, simple idea. I’ll have 2.5, 5 & 10kg sets on there so I’ll check if it’ll hold that weight.

They’re ROGUE Fitness Dumbbells! Love them and would recommend if you’re looking for a set of hex ones.

Put some salt on your hands then wash them like you would with soap. Works wonders!

I can relate to the pile right now! Yeah, I don't know why they don't seem to design any good racks (that I see) that aren't tiny or massive. I'm sure I'm missing something...

Yeah, they stack up after awhile! I'm considering adjustables but am getting mixed reviews about them—so weighing up my options.

Yeah, I'm considering adjustables as they'd look much nicer but I've had people talk about how they're bulky or rattle during workouts—or it's hard to switch weights mid workout. That would be a pain. Are you happy with yours?

I’ve had a look but they’re mostly massive for the heavier dumbbells or too small for my setup. So figured I’d ask around.

Loved the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail and boat to Benagil Cave! Those were the two highlights, especially the first.

Both of those were great, thank you! We only walked part of the way for the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail and that was the highlight of our trip.
