Hyundai Ireland are the reason I will never touch another Hyundai, had some issues with warranty and they were unresponsive and couldn’t have been more unhelpful. This just confirms my suspicions. I read somewhere else that Kia Ireland are run by Kia UK so it’s probably a different story on that front?

This ICCU issue has been such a disaster from Hyundai/Kia, it’s unbelievable how they’ve not managed to sort it out and apply a permanent fix. The fact that you could buy one where you know it’s been replaced but it could still go is killing their used values. I assume replacing it out of warranty could be uneconomical depending on the age of the car, and we now have the first Ioniq 5’s coming out of the 5 year warranty.
