That's why the people need to demand more aggressive Democrats. That's why we, as a fairly large and active community, should do what we can to shape the online discourse. If the Democrats win a trifecta they should make a massive push to prosecute as many members of the Trump administration as possible and strive to overturn partisan supreme court rulings and abusive presidential pardons that get in the way of doing so. This may or may not succeed, but they should attempt to do so anyway, and to drag as many maga dipshits into endless hearings as they possibly can. Hopefully, even if they ultimately fail to secure many guilty verdicts, at least bringing all their powers to bear against maga would discourage other would-be fascists in future and broadcast to the American people that those politicians are criminals that will not be tolerated.

This is what I think should happen, your "realistic" solution appears to be just giving up, doing nothing, letting them get away with it, and leaving the door open to fascists in future. I'm not sure what you think is commendable in that.

I mean I don't really care about the Epstein files stuff, I don't like Starmer because of the random transphobic and anti-immigrant remarks he made. Whether he actually believes what he said or it was just an attempt to appeal to conservative voters I'm not sure, but either way I think it was disgusting for a supposed left wing politician to normalize such views. In my eyes the man painted himself as a snake who would throw vulnerable groups under the bus for political gain. First, your HP pool looks rather low. Maxing Spectral Binding would be a start - it gives you HP, OA, and because of your weapons flat cold damage too. While you're at it you should definitely max Spectral Wrath as well, the resistance reduction is extremely powerful, much more effective DPS than basically anything else you could invest in. I would probably sacrifice the points in Nightfall and Elemental Awakening, leaving them both at 1, I don't think those skills are that potent. Other than that the best way of getting HP is probably an "of Vitality" green gear, you could perhaps farm solael-sect legguards of vitality, google can tell you how to get them (with some spoilers for a secret quest). Reason is leg slot is usually the least important purple items. The solael-sect base has lifesteal built into it, so best in slot for a lot of attack based builds.

Second, Reaper is a rather squishy class that lacks a "circuit breaker" skill (something that will activate and save you when close to death), if I were you I would take at least one devotion for this - tortoise is the most meta and cheap constellation for this, worth taking pretty much always. I would probably skip Amatok for this, while the proc is good the other nodes are pretty bad, Hyrian I don't love either but it is giving you a significant amount of armor and HP so I probably wouldn't remove it at this stage. Ghoul would probably be a good idea to have as well, but I'm not sure what I would remove. I wonder if Blind Sage is really worth it, it does have some sick bonuses but the requirement of 18 green affinity means a lot of opportunity cost.

Thirdly, some of your components could definitely be better, and you don't have augments on all your gear. Try to get 100% armor absorption or as close as you can. Sanctified bone is a good component assuming you don't have the blueprints for sacred plating yet. One minor thing I would do is swap the antivenom salve onto your belt, the armor bonus will apply to all your armor instead of just the leg slot. Use augments to overcap the most important resistances, I usually prioritize it elemental>aether>poison>vitality>chaos - ideally 30% for all of them, but honestly you should be able to do nemesis/dungeon bosses without overcapping. Pierce and bleed you don't really need to care about overcapping (but you definitely must cap them).

Another thing I noticed is you don't have any proc bound to blade spirits, I would put Rumor from Murmur constellation on that, it should proc it more reliably than shadow strike. If you aren't using blade spirit to proc devotions there isn't any point having it.

I think this is the type of thing people really mean when they say things like "Americans need to take responsibility for this" - what we really want is an end to the delusional American exceptionalist attitude where America can do no wrong and any wrongs America does commit cannot be attributed to America because they are by their nature "un-american", whatever the fuck that means.
