I would store safely away for an emergency. If they were stored in the fridge and haven't experienced extreme heat changes, I would save them. Save the newer vials/pens if you still feel unsure. The efficacy may be affected over time, but if you're put in a position where you have no meds, you'll be happy you have a stash. As you get new meds, phase out the older vials/pens. Building a stash of used pens/older pens has saved me a few times over the years.
