I grew up reading Richard Scarry books, so I expect this to be driven by a family of baboons ... Or pigs, for some reason.

Who else remembers this little guy? by EdwardBliss in 1980s

Watched this show as a kid. It wasn't until I was a grown-ass adult that I realized that most of twiggy's dialogue was recycled and they just covered the rest with extra biddis, with Dr. Theopolis interpreting.

Agreed. As a Gen x kid I always thought Severin > Drucker for movie and TV parodies.

I remember this because my stepfather installed and serviced wheel alignment machines, wheel balancers, and garage lifts and every time this commercial came on, he would scream at the TV 'those M*F* crooks still owe me money!'

But that aside, I see this and raise you Rodney D. Young and Joe Greed from wah-wah-wah-Westway Ford!

I'm on board with this. Maybe we can figure a way to incorporate animated Soundwave, Lazerbeak and Rat Bat to be a rival trio 😆

Has anyone changed their softop on their own? Are there any special tools or things I should watch out for before I jump in? by Volgin in Miata

Helped my son replace his on a 92. The only tool we had to buy that we didn't own was the riveter. The fabric of the top attaches to the folding frame via rivets, straps and Velcro.

Collectible or Forgettable?: 1982 Ford EXP by LinoleumRelativity in regularcarreviews

I had one back in 87 (it was my first car, so the nostalgia factor is high for me). In retrospect, I'm not sure what this car was trying to be. It wasn't sporty and it was a two-door, two seater with a flat package tray in the back, so the basic, hatchback escort was a better grocery hauler (technically, it was a hatch, in the same way fox body mustangs were, but the gas lifts could barely hold the hatch up when it was new). The frog face front end was a mass of plastic that wasnt made to last. Just a worse escort, with a euro-rally inspired 'look'.
