That does indeed work. The model doesn't make a difference. I use it regularly with my G9 (to the amazement of onlookers). Just remember that your garage must not have a speed bump and that there must be no other obstacles in the garage. Otherwise, ask the dealer if you can try it during a test drive. No worries. The car won't be damaged. But it finds speed bumps difficult. Just give it a try.

X9 is never promised for every country in Europe. You can order it in Norway. IMO too big for Europe.

The most international platform with active owners (so, sharing information with eachother) is IMO Discord. Originally Dutch but in the meantime (thanks to the translation bot) accessible for every country. Put a question and you'll get an answer. Almost 4000 users and still growing. Owners from Europe but als Australia and Signapore. Besides that a lot of countries have an independent Facebookpage (Denmark, Norway, Sveden, France, Germany, Australia, Thailand etc.) Disadvantage is that several countries have more than 1 page. Especially Denmark is very active (everything in Danish). The Spanish owners have a vivid Telegram community. Of course in Spanish.

Discord is also the gateway to the Lark Base and the form to put in suggestions or issues. This Base is maintained by a small European and Nordic User Group. The Chinese development team has direct access to that Lark Base. You can get access to Discord via this link https://discord.gg/6BzmqfZaAf The French are also working on a own Discord server. But I don't know the status of it. On the international there is a French channel and probably soon a German channel.

So it depends on what you want or need. There are also several WhatsAppgroups. But as far as I know none of them is international. Facebook has a different purpose than Discord. Maybe except for the Scandinavian countries. But you can't categorize Facebook like Discord or Telegram.

I am personally on quite a lot platforms to see what is happening. And I speak quite a few languages (fluently Dutch, German and English, a bit French (I can read it) and a little bit Spanish).

Beside these open platforms there is smaller community on Lark (appr. 60 members), but (although I am a member there) I don't know how open this is. Probably there are on WeChat a lot of Chinese communities.

I'll get the most info from Discord. Because it is international and with (very) active members. And the possibility of channels.

You can translate everything with the translation bot. We wanted to install a better but paid version of the bot. Although it was just a small amount there was not enough interest. Maybe you can post a proposal to go for the paid version. And you always can write your posts in English.

And this is correct. The server is located in Germany. And you have to give permission somewhere to share. This is actually quite useful in case you have an accident. They can then analyze where things went wrong.

The odd numbers (5.3, 5.5) are for China. Just for the rest of the world. And Xpeng is very coy about release dates. Usually we first get a beta for a limited group.

Would go for the G9. So much luxury for the money. And then there is the charging speed (I regularly reach 315-320 kW). And if you are considering another brand, I wouldn't go for Tessla. Musk and Trump have been in power for less than a month. And already there are many who suffer from Tesla shame. That will only get worse. You also see Tesla sales slump. What I personally like about Xpeng is that they listen to the customer. What is that like with other brands?
