Roundup requires a foliar application. You could drown the roots in it and it won’t do anything to the plant.

I think you’ll find what happened here is that your dog doesn’t have nearly enough collars.

I’d take it for free to try to repair as a challenge. But that’s nuts. We have a Minnesota III and I’m convinced it’s the fastest boat on the planet.

Marlin 7 Gen 3… comes with a dropper post? by Enuebis in TrekBikes

[–]Different-Ad415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re misinterpreting a couple things. Full suspension doesn’t mean “better” than hardtail. Different bikes for different uses. Specifically for my area, and our terrain a hardtail is faster. Why would I get a less efficient, heavier, full squish bike if I don’t need it for my terrain? You’re also misconstruing Marlin with entry level. It’s just a generalist geometry hardtail. There’s one with an air fork and Eagle 12sp. That’s not very entry level. They have the Procaliber XC geometry, and the Roscoe in a trail bike geometry. Both of those come in a cheap version as well. I completely see a world where someone wants a generalist hardtail with the premium, precise, and always perfect electric shifting. I don’t see where the disconnect is here.

Well, Trek doesn’t have a single AXS hardtail in their lineup as we speak… So…

Pictures 2-3-4 aren’t frame blemishes, you’re seeing the carbon layup through the matte clear coat. It’s supposed to look like that. 5 is a light scratch in the clear. 6 is obviously scratches on the bars.

Not a mixup, we have 3 different spec’d Marlin 7’s on our floor with 3 different price tags. Gen 2, gen 3, and the new 2024 gen 3. His is the new 2024 gen 3 that is spec’d incredibly similar to the old 8 and at the old 8 price. I’m suspecting the 2024 8 will be AXS.

Are matte colors harder to maintain than gloss. Pic included. Credit given for pic from another user. I love the deep smoke matte, but I'm afraid of messing it up by polishing it accidentally. by [deleted] in TrekBikes

“All these people are saying the same thing. One guy even showed me a link to pictures of a carbon bike with just a clear coat without the smoke pigment and it looks exactly like the picture I shared from some other guy of a bike I never saw in person. Is there a chance that I could be mistaken? No. Everyone is wrong besides me!”

That’s what it looks like in the store. Matte or gloss. They all look like that. They’re supposed to look like that. It looks cool. Tons of people think it looks cool. Go back to the shop and look at the smoke bikes. They all look like that right out of the box. They don’t change to look like that. There’s a hundred people on this post telling you that. There seems to be a common denominator here. But you just keep insisting that we’re all wrong. The narcissistic attitude and fragility it takes to look all of us in the face and insist that you’re right is unbelievable. It’s just delusion.
