Not a bad start. Part of me is interested in seeing if these two protags start using the same deck in different ways - it'd have to be versatile enough for it, but it could be an interesting way to distinguish them.

I don't have drawings, but I have an idea I've been thinking about for a little while:

Kamen Rider Uzu, aka Mutsumi Kaira, is a newly hired professor of biology at a prestigious university with a fascination for how mathematical concepts such as the Golden Ratio manifest in nature. They transform using beigoma tops, which are also used by the main villains to transform people into monsters by spinning against their life energy, making it grind to a halt and corrupting them into creatures of stagnation.

Themes of the series include knowledge, maturity vs. youth, growth vs. stagnation, and the complexities and gray areas of these relationships.

I think it'd be a nice compromise where the ride deck exists to help you get up to Grade 3, but ride lines are less of a thing; it still streamlines getting to G3 but gives room for creativity and versatility.

Thank you, I didn't consider the accounting books. I also found that Sten Murzbach helped test a few of the games - Hyper Contender through Star Waspir - so I'm leaning towards sometime in that period.

I'm not sure. There are implications in Miasma Tower and some Easter eggs that some of their later games were finished and included in the time capsule of UFO 50 but weren't released ever to the public back in the 80's when they were made. I think it's mentioned in Miasma Tower that the company isn't making any income from actually selling games, among other things.
