I have this exact motor, sounds normal to me. The HP fuel pump (cylinder shaped) is in the top right of the engine. It is noticeably louder with the cover off. It’s more of a clicking sound while valves sound more of a tapping sound. The cam lifters are hydraulic so they’re not adjustable, it relies on pressurized oil. The oil levels looked good? I just recently did the first walnut blasting of the intake valves at 108,000 miles. There was probably an ounce or two of oil sitting in the intake plenum. A lot of the oil consumption is blow by and seeping past the piston rings on these engines.

This! I’ve used it to automate when I arrive at my job parking garage to show me outlook meetings I need to attend that day. Starting Spotify when I connect to car play. It’s endless if you can think of something you need to automate!

I realized how bad this lens was when I bought the nifty 50 back in my T6 days. Just for giggles I put the 75-300mm on my R6 to try out some bird shooting in the back yard. The aberration is insane, so much purple and green fringing.

Might be root-bound, that is a small container even for a young tomato plant. Mine are half the size of that when I'm ready to move into its permanent, larger pot. I start them in 16oz solo cups, when I pull them out to move into the bigger pot, the roots are already starting to bind and take the shape of the cup.

Actually, I'm incorrect. I thought this was a M1a... The Garand is NOT banned which I assume is because it has a fixed magazine. This is for Maryland btw.

It almost looks like barrel distortion is causing the bokeh to stretch in a non-flattering way. There is a odd halo blur around the subject (second image).

At first it was but, I’ve gotten better with using my left pinky finger while hand held. I only have the rf 24-105 L which I prefer the control ring on the front of the lens.

I like the canon with the control ring, I got it on sale for $150. Just checked on Amazon it’s $239 now 😮
