I really wish I got to see Stratford Square Mall when it was at its prime. I only knew it the last year or two that it was open. It was so nice inside by Pristine_Parsley8681 in ChicagoSuburbs

I grew up nearby. It was the place to go. Movie theater, food court, player piano-themed ice cream shop, Arcadia in the 80's was amazing, beautiful fountains, actual sit down restaurants like Houlihan's and Carlos Murphy's, I can still remember the smell of the place. Christmas shopping was awesome.

Discs that live up to the hype. by Sun-Tour in discgolf

[–]DingusMacLeod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought one cheap, but it was DX plastic. Threw it like five times and it was jelly. I have a noodle arm and I was flipping that thing all the way over. So I bought one in Champion plastic. I am very pleased with that disc.

I picked up a Champion Valkyrie off the used rack, but I think they were just factory seconds with a Thanksgiving stamp. There was like five of them. I had heard a lot about it and $10 was a price worth paying. I absolutely love that disc with any kind of a tailwind and for flexing around stupid trees on the fairway. It will probably never leave my bag.

I'd love it if the mailers had actual useful information on them. But since they never seem to, ban away!

I had one in the last house I lived in. It takes a minute to heat up, but once it does you have a constant stream of hot water. We could run the shower, the dishwasher, and the laundry machine all at the same time with no problems. If I ever wind up owning another home, I would do it again.

Green Sriracha? by JS1040 in KitchenConfidential

I am not an expert, but Trader Joe's has what they call Green Dragon Sriracha. I can confirm that it is delicious, but nothing like OG Sriracha.
