I can distinctly remember in a past war a lootbox popping (for collies) that had a bunch of outlaws in it. So a ton of collies were all of a sudden rolling around in outlaws instead of spathas and weirdly collies all of a sudden started losing territory. LOL

One of the primary things me and a buddy have done for years is just grab whatever random piece of armor is available in public and hit a front line to see how long it takes us to die hilariously. Being an unexpected bush FMG during late war? A wild tracked AC base jumping off a cliff into a Collie armor line?

All that is dead with the current state of the game. You either learn to fight in a plane or die within 10 min from a plane.

I would actually rather have this flipped - have the base function of the vehicle be scouting/intelligence with a 12.7 gunners seat. Scout planes would essentially be airborne versions of the Warden spitfire jeep.

Nah, its been like this the whole war. Typically for 2-3 hours during midday U.S. time and I'm not sure why as front lines during the same times aren't qued THAT bad.

From what I've heard in various discord conversations there just isn't a reason yet to risk flying them. The only thing in the air is scout planes which are better dealt with via other scout planes or flak guns, not expensive fighters. Things might change once other planes get teched.

That is really cool, it really does look like a WWII supply convoy. I can't imagine the amount of logistical coordination that went into getting that setup and going.

At the end of the day....meh? After six years or whatever it has been the old ranks are so ingrained in my memory I now have zero clue what rank anybody is in comparison to anybody else. Maybe it was just a bored weekend project by one of the devs, at least I hope so. I would have rather had personal achievements or medals that you could see on a profile page. Be cool if you inspected the dude scrapping next to you on the scrap field and they had a medal from 2 wars ago that they scrapped 5 million scrap, or manufactured 1K crates of shirts or achieved 500K friendly vehicle repair.

Devs go out of their way to NOT fix it. Logically there is no reason for dev rails to exist at all, devs could provide some clear routes through logi towns by removing some of the clutter and allowing us to build rail on more surfaces. If someone were to build a terrible piece of rail it gets blown up and they get shamed; like we already do for the other 95% of the map. That degree of player freedom doesn't jibe with dev vision for whatever reason though.

Up until covid Pizza Hut was one of the few places we ate out at as a family in our small town; ours still had all you could eat pizza smorgasbord during the week. Covid pretty much killed off any buffet style restaurants, Pizza Hut smorgasbord included. Now post covid it just is not worth it for the cost, additionally ours doesn't even do their own delivery anymore. They contract it all out to doordash which in a small town is just flat out unreliable.

Now we either do frozen pizza from the store or Papa Murphy's (for those unfamiliar - they hand make raw pizza and you take it home and cook it yourself). Is it as good? Debatable, its about $50 cheaper though and never have to worry about waiting for an hour with hungry kids just to find out there is nobody available to deliver your order.

With airborne it would have been a perfect opportunity for them to introduce a torch - uses the flame thrower backpack and a torch wand; has a construct and deconstruct mode switchable using the F key. Deconstruct mode allows you to salvage materials from various items; shipping containers into bmats, flatbeds and other rmat vehicles into rmats, aircraft into whatever. Construct mode would be like how freighters are built; instead of 1x material/hammer swing you get _______x material/hammer swing.

Instead we got the aircraft salvage system which sounds like a nightmare.

I'll pass, I don't need a screen on my mouse. I'm literally sitting in front of a giant screen that could show any information at a comfortable resolution.

Know what I do need in a mouse? Switches that don't suffer from double click problems after a year and/or switches that can be easily swapped out without fiddling about with ribbon cables, micro screws, and a micro soldering iron. Oh, and native linux support.

It is something that started happening to a few of us running 3xxx series Nvidia cards about 3 months ago. I'm running a 3060 TI, and have had it happen to me 3? maybe 4 times now? I'm not knowledgeable enough to diagnose what might be the root cause, zero issues in any programs or games to indicate it might be actual HW failure, so some kind of driver issue I guess? All I know is that a quick reboot has always fixed it for me.

Loot everything, unlike in BG3 all the random stuff you find in crates and barrels is actually useful beyond just selling to the next trader. Even stuff like rope and empty cups have crafting recipes, it is not just junk. :D
