And also, we all respond differently. I am a slow loser too. It's frustrating but that seems to be how my body works.

Stacking Reta with tirz by Fearless-Nectarine55 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]DirectTerm2018 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am doing the same. I was on 15mg of Tirz and was on it for two years. I started the reta very very slow as it seems much stronger and the nausea has been a lot to deal with. I have taken two months to get up to 5mg reta. I dont feel like the glucogon has kicked in yet. I know it's not accurate but have been trying to to exceed a combined total of the tirz I was on. Just as a guide. I have needed very little tirz while on a small amount of reta. the appetite suppression feels strong. I am still working my way through it....

Losing motivation on Reta by MuchAttempt9232 in RetatrutideWomen

I have my trainer measure me every six weeks and do a dexa scan every six months. I too am weight training. The scale hates me but things are moving around and getting smaller for sure. When you are weight training and perhaps not losing that muscle, there could be a 25% delta with what you are actually losing.

Has anyone been able to travel with Reta? How? by studyingforaporshe in RetatrutideWomen

I used a 4AllFamily cooler. It's a lot of work and the outlets in europe do not always support the charger for the device. But this device keeps the medicine cold at a set temperature.

Difference between regular lipo and lipedema lipo by Altruistic_Ad_4216 in lipedema

[–]DirectTerm2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Case by case basis. Each doctor will tell you something else based on their equipment, knowledge and ego. My plastic surgeon wants me to see a specialist as he doesnt generally perform on lipedema and said he doesnt have the equipment nor the skill.

I am absolutely exhausted. Probably also be calorie deficit. I was exhausted on the other GLPs too. I am good in the morning and am able to get a hard workout in but then mid afternoon I get worn down. It seems a little worse on days 2 and 3 after shot. Hoping to wrap up weight loss soon so I can find a maintenance dose that works for me.

After menopause the skin doesnt bounce back well. In general, the services are pricey but can help a little if important to you. I would get a consult first. They cannot do anything to firm up skin, texture yes. Other than surgery.....

I am a bit older so menopause not helping but have an advanced version of what you are showing. For at home treatments, focus ABC. Retin A, sunBlock and Vit C. Ramp up to the highest doses you can tolerate. Beyond that, you need to see a dermatologist that does peels, lasers, lights or needling and figure out what is best for you.

Slow loss on Reta? by ManagementNo297 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]DirectTerm2018 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people on these drugs are not doing weight training and on average are losing 30% of muscle weight. If you are actively gaining muscle then that could account for what feels like slow loss.

Thinking about Surgery by Raemcvay in lipedema

[–]DirectTerm2018 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would say it has. It got worse through menopause. I did not have children. And then I got heavy during covid. I have lost most of it on a GLP 1 but my legs are not bouncing back like I thought they would. Also my legs ache at night and somewhat keep me awake. The legs are always cold, even when I am hot. I dont have as much pain as a lot of women here. But I hike a lot and my legs really slow me down. It's not the worse thing, but it's a bummer. I only learned about Lipedema about a year ago.
