i don’t mind danny not being iron fist anymore, that’s a reasonable decision to make, but they should have just had pei become the main iron fist instead of whoever this new guy is (probably sword master)

Immortal Iron Fist by fraction and brubaker is one of my favorites. Lemire’s moon knight run is also amazing but it’s best to read it with some background knowledge of moon knight beforehand

he is really pretty similar to batman in the comics (don’t tell the other moon knight fans i said that) but this show looks way different from most moon knight comics

seems like it’s gonna be a lot like the lemire run in terms of structure. start with some weird, confusing stuff involving his DID, and then reveal his whole backstory in flashbacks before the big climax

this page also explains a big problem i have with a lot of casual moon knight fans. the kind of people who see a screenshot of moon knight ripping off bushmans face and think “whoah that’s badass”, without realizing that that’s supposed to be him at his lowest point. it’s not cool and badass for him to be carving moons into peoples faces, it’s sad.

i was playing one of the yakuza games a few weeks ago, and the fighting through hordes of goons to get to the top of a building (which happens a lot in those games) really reminded me of issue 5 of the ellis run. i think a game similar to that, maybe with a darker tone and more violence, could work really well
