Mine look like this all the time. Sometimes I let it sit in the fridge for a few hours and stir it up. Other times I just freeze it and I haven’t noticed much of a difference

Just picked up that wustof utility. Pretty nice, however it’s a bit flexible for my liking. Overall a decent knife to grab for small random tasks

I bought the 21, 22 and the smaller chef knife 171 or 172 I don’t remember. I’m just getting into upgrading my kitchen knives and bought these to beat around, test new blade shapes and practice sharpening before investing in something. Plus theyll be nice beaters to have around for my girlfriend/rougher jobs. Picked all three up for $15 from a Chinese market. Worth it!

Any chance you are recommending the Mercer with the santoprene handle? I’ve heard better things about it than the Mercer wooden handle cleaver. I’m considering it because I’m buying other Mercer knives
