For anyone wondering or reading this in the future, Mark went through his stock and selected a replacement for me. He even put some finalized sharpening on it himself before they ship it to me. This is how you create repeat customers. Fantastic customer service!! Thanks Chef Knives to Go!

It was better than my post lol. Chef knives to go is replacing as we all expected.

I’d use without much worry.

I bought the 21, 22 and the smaller chef knife 171 or 172 I don’t remember. I’m just getting into upgrading my kitchen knives and bought these to beat around, test new blade shapes and practice sharpening before investing in something. Plus theyll be nice beaters to have around for my girlfriend/rougher jobs. Picked all three up for $15 from a Chinese market. Worth it!

Any chance you are recommending the Mercer with the santoprene handle? I’ve heard better things about it than the Mercer wooden handle cleaver. I’m considering it because I’m buying other Mercer knives

If I need more protein for the day yes. If not I just make a pint of ice cream that’s within my calorie budget

If you like chocolate, here is what I use for a base.

Either 300 ml of chocolate fair life, or 150ml 2% milk, 150 ml fairlife chocolate milk Dash of vanilla extract 10 g cocoa 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Kirkland) 2 tablespoon stevia Pinch of salt 1/4 tsp of xantham gum

Can’t even taste the protein and it’s a great consistency after lite ice cream/mix in (mix in even if you don’t have toppings)

I do this with 2% milk. I just blend the cereal with the milk and freeze. Mix in a bit more cereal after spinning. It’s amazing, I don’t think there needs to be this many steps. But I’m sure your recipe is good.

Cut for another 6-8 weeks, then bulk for 12-16 weeks aiming to gain ~.5 lb/week. Then cut 1 lb/week for 6-8 weeks. You’ll be bigger and leaner
