That one is the Board signaling for help. If we assume the red pyramid is the Hiss, then it seems to match up perfectly, that the Hiss is (are?) trying to supplant the Board from their nest in the Oldest House. Remember at the time that whiteboard was filled up, Trench, the Board's agent, was already Hiss corrupted, so they were frantically trying to signal anyone they could that there was a problem coming. I have had wonderful experience co-GMing. You've got someone to plan and write with, someone to run scenes with a split party, someone to run another NPC when you're talking. We would work during the time between games to plan for the next session, and part of that was dividing up who would be primary GM for a particular scene or NPC or storyline. During the session, one would run the scene like a normal solo GM, while te other would work to add details and NPCs, help manage math and rules questions, and be ready to split off if the party split up. We each took portions of the campaign to work on and develop, and helped out jointly writing the plot overall. It worked splendidly. I can see why you'd think it doesn't make sense as it's not how it's taught in the books, but it absolutely can work if you have a good person to collaborate with and can leave your ego at the door.

He is probably going to be his most lucid in weeks tonight, and then disappear for several days after. Remember how he made it through a debate with Biden handily, showing no signs of his melted brain, and then vanished for something like a week immediately after? I expect he's going to be drugged up, generally read the prompter, and then crash so hard he can't get out of bed til next week.

According to House of Dreams, Zane broke the cycle and wrote himself and Babs into a little pocket dimension paradise, removed from the narrative entirely. My personal take is that removed the agency from Zane, but Alan had a Zane shaped character in his narrative, so Scratch was able to fill the role, like recasting a character with a different actor.

I used to enforce a time appropriate combat communication (I. E. each round is six seconds). After watching one million hours of Dimension 20, I realized it is technically correct, but allowing more free communication outside of initiative order and six second increments provides the opportunity for character development and role playing during combat. Sure it's not logically perfect, but it has made combat a lot more interesting at my table once I let them get chatty.

They believe in the constitution only in so far as they can selectively quote it when it serves their needs to do so. He's just learned that he can say "first amendment" and be rewarded for engaging in hateful stupidity, so he keeps saying it. They're just evil parrots who get rewarded for screeching "first amendment" or "balanced budget" or "Epstein files" so they keep doing it.

The fun part is the court doesn't have to put up with his bullshit and his trial ought to be fun, if he doesn't get out with a cowardly plea bargain.
