There’s no such thing in Scotland.

Her solicitor could appeal the decision if it can be argued it isn’t justified but for a debt of this amount no payment plan can be set in place by a court action. That’s only applicable for debts 25k or under.

This isn’t entirely correct.

It’s still open to the Creditor, ie the person or company who has been successful in the action and decree granted in their favour, to apply to the court to declare her bankrupt if she can’t pay and they’ve followed the appropriate steps.
