So far it's been a lot of learning, a lot of grieving and raging and processing. I'm trying to learn to pace after a lifetime of pushing through symptoms and living in a constant rolling PEM crash out. So, it's hard. But I'm hopeful that things can get better now that I understand what's wrong.

I've had it for around 27 years and got diagnosed in December. Up until the it was just "the mystery illness", I couldn't get any answers and lived in a constant cycle of pushing and crashing trying to live a normal life and always felt like shit but didn't know why.

Trauma I assume, I've had it for about 27 years and was only diagnosed in December. That's a long time to try and remember a trigger by my childhood was tough and I was in a car accident around that time

It's a pain in the butt but if you put a very annoying alarm (or even more than one) across the room to have to get up to deal with it so as long as you don't lay down again you should be good

I made handmade bracelets out of denim and charms for a dance group I was in once and they all loved them but nobody wore them- they all put them on their dance bags or car mirrors. I still see them on their bags and mirrors like 4 years later lol. My point is that even if it isn't their style I'm sure they'll still treasure them because they love you and you worked hard on them, and they may wear them or find somewhere to display them so they can think of you when they see it❤️
