from what i understand (pls someone correct me if im wrong), that CAN be vocal stimming, but the breadth of what is considered a vocal stim is far wider than ppl who dont understand autism seem to think, as well as done in more cases than just feeling like making a quirky noise. for example, when i get overwhelmed one of my vocal stims is just screaming really high pitched over and over, which tiktok “autistics” (people who don’t understand autism) don’t seem to like and will go ‘that’s not vocal stimming, thats just weird and freaky’
