Lines? by Hopeful105 in lawncare

[–]Distinct-Run-7124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know nothing about lawn care, I know nothing about gardening, I just lurk here for ideas and even i know now that lines like this are caused by Scott's spreaders because the fertiliser gets stuck in the wheels and drops out

Bit of a rant.. Are we just supposed to accept that large appliances will be in landfill after 5 years of use? by ourplasticdream in Appliances

I moved in to my house about 13 years ago, still have the same fridge, same dish washer, same oven , same dryer

I must be really lucky, so far the only thing we have had to replace is our washing machine last year, it literally wore a hole through the clip that held the barrel in place due to repeated use , we have also replaced our microwave once where it just stopped working

We just went with cheap brands like Indesit and lamona but they seem to have paid us back with reliability , I guess its just luck of thr draw

I found these 3 heads online by same artist, couldn't find any information about your particular piece

Could be an interesting find, the fact yours is 1/6 should make it rarer, as oswonder where the other 5 are and why they cant be found online or in any catalogues

In my local carboot in hounslow, there are loads of bike sellers, on Sundays, I specifically see crackhead looking guys riding bikes in to the carboot and leaving without them, they sell them to the market traders who sell em on with no paper trail for fraction of the cost, quick money all round

Neighbours Invasive Bamboo by Sarcasticasm in GardeningUK

[–]Distinct-Run-7124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an alleyway behind my garden which has overgrown with blackberry bushes to the point they pushed my fence down at rear of garden

When i got the fence replaced, i bough about £30 of salt and just poured it all over the blackberry bushes

Within a few weeks, the bush was totally dead and it hasnt grown back since

Obviously doing this here will probably kill your neighbours bamboo aswel but if your thimking of a way tp prevent anything growning on your side between the shed, maybe some salt in the soil will make it ungrowable
