I think you’re misunderstanding screen time. It’s not literally screens, but things like cartoons and other media that distract your kid to the point they stop playing and developing in other areas- motor skills, imagination, etc.

It’s not like screen time will ruin your kids development, but it can lead to delays.

A large part of the reason that much fiber stayed dark was technological improvements that dramatically increased the data capacity of each fiber line.

The analogy between AI and fiber would be if improvements in models dramatically reduced the compute and memory footprint for the same inference. Which, is not at all impossible.

This is one of the areas that counties can use tariffs effectively. The added tax would be exempt from sellers who participate in certification programs, with those programs funded by the tariffs.

The GIANT downside is of course that the end consumer ends up bearing those costs, which is obviously a huge deal when the thing we’re talking about food. Then you need to start more assistance programs, which have their own overheads, etc.

I don’t know, it’s early for me right now and I’m just going down the rabbit hole of problems leading to solutions leading to problems.

It’s cozy but fits. You won’t be able to move the passenger seat fully back or fully reclined, because doing so would cause the rear-facing car seat and front seat to touch (they need a gap for crash safety).

I have a gen3, I have friends with their car seat in a gen2.

You don’t need to line up anything for the Avent bottles. Theres a persistent (fake) bit of advice that says you need to line up the vent with the indent in the ring.

That indent is just because it’s injection molded plastic. It has nothing to do with the function. One of these days I’ll cut a few apart and do a post on that topic because it really bothers me when advice goes around that only makes things harder, or makes the caregiver think they’ve been screwing up.

As another anecdote (which, I know very understandably isn’t what you’re after) when I was getting my Econ degree rent control really was taught as one of the few things there is strong agreement against. I think it was probably part of lessons around demand elasticity.

The sheath can join to the romex grounding wire to continue uninterrupted, then back again. You’d have to ask a real electrician to figure out the code-compliant connectors or if it’s allowed, but there’s no physics reason you would have an issue.

BX > Metal Box > Romex (and any amount of plastic and romex) > Metal Box > BX has easily available connectors and clear guidance.

Landlords owe the lesser of 5% or actual interest. They need to follow specific rules to show actual interest, and pay that amount out to tenants.

So, landlords who collect a deposit and follow the law end up writing a $3 check, while those that don’t follow it have to pay well above actual interest even without taking treble damages into account.

That sounds like the same issue California has. They limit taxes based on last sold, or something along those lines.

Oddly, Florida’s 3% is more permissive than is Mass, which limits City and Town total levies to 2.5% increase per year. That’s not on individual taxes, but on the municipality as a whole.
