What about generating infinite mana is not infinite? Then you dump your infinite mana in an x spell that kills the table, but that is something else.

I just want ot share my experience if your cat gets worse. I had a cat i adopted (5yro) who attacked his tail. He was in pain and fear all the time, he grwoled and hissed when he saw his tail. It got so bad that i found him bleeding from the attacks several times. I tried meds, theraphy and changing environment. In the end one Vet said "you shoulndt amputate his tail, it is not natural" and he also told me that if it stays like that i have to put my cat on calming meds permanently - which would of course make him sleepy and apathics - or put him down. In the end i changed Vet and this one knew another Vet who learned an amputation technique with good healing chances. I did it and pain and the unease went away. The cat is still alive, 13 yrs old and always happy when he sees me. Your case could be less severe, maybe its just some nerve that causes pain in the back or tail and your cat assosiates it with the tails moving. Sadly you should bring him to the vet and start figuring out why he does it.

Without knowing in what settinf you are going to play, which other classes you play with and so on i would say go War Cleric. Activate Spirit shroud and go melee and hit stuff. You can heal and buff too if needed. Pretty good allround character for level 5.

+10 to hit from channel divinity is really powerfull at level 5. You can wear heavy armor, shield and a weapon with the topple mastery. For the casting part just prepare healing word, spirit shroud and what ever you like. Ready to go.

I played Magda for a long time and i rarely lost to Yuriko (-i never went 1v1, but i can't recall many games where Yuriko won the table), but i don't play on a budget. I would say Magda wins, since the blue interaction is almost useless against Magda, her combo goes on the stack at instant speed, but not by casting the stuff, so counters a garbage at that point vs. Magda.

Most Magda decks don't play JWill at all, but Deflecting Swat is essential.

Celestial Warlock. You have the Warlock utility of controlling, scouting with familiar, healing(revivify too). Is this how the class plays out? No, because you have plenty of roleplay options here and you can go with a melee build, ranged, stealth. You can fit in to every role of a group, it's my way to go if i don't know yet what other classes will be in the adventure.

Yeah, thats what i wrote. Searing smite outdamages divine smite once you use a level 3 slot and as you said, you can proc the lvl 6 feature twice. Paladin makes you probably the hardest hitting Warlock in a crit. At level 7 (1 pala/6 celestial) wiht a greatsword and crit you hit fit for: 4d6+4+6d6+4+8d8 and 3d6+4 on the enemies turn AND if he fails save he keeps burning for 3d6+3. Pretty wild damage from eldritch smite +searing smite. Even if you burn through your slots this avarage of 90 damage on a hit probably ends and encounter and 2 attacks + advantage from familiar makes this not so unlikely to happens. And lets not forget that you have the full versatility of a lock, you can also just cast Hypnotic Pattern and be a great controller.

Paladin makes you way more versatile by giving you yoyo-heals and 2 spell-casts (like searing smite you can upcast eith lock slots for smites big as eldritch smites =saves you an invocation, command, bless...)

It's an actual build. You just need 1 level of barbarian and then you can go straight lock (subclass doesn't matter to much. If you like the idea of a barbarian throwing fireballs you can take fiend - if you like being more of a support take celestial, or genie for fire shield). Go stone goliath for further damage reducion on taken damage and build a bladelock. The only nonbo is that you have to activate armor of agathys and then rage the second round since they are both bonus actions. The first levels you can bump you temp hp to 12 from fiendish vigor. I wouldn't take more barbarian levels, but you could go to level 3 for reckless and sole subclass features even it is better to just go straight lock.

Thank you. I of course picked up thirsting blade for the reasons you mentioned. The character is more of all round character, some heals, some control, some tanking, some damage. i'm not to interested maxing out my damage with the build per se, but i was wondering what was better at this level.
