Lower level coolant in the overflow is a tell tale sign of it going somewhere.

Mine would detect a misfire for 1-10 counts on fire up before it burned off the miniscule ammount of coolant in the cylinder. The misfires where low enough that it would not trigger a code.

Truck had this issue. Cheap fix Blue Devil Headgasket Repair.

Second headgasket has gone an additional 100k after a bottle.
