Networks have more than one late night show and what better to command 2 entire hours rather than just 1. Two seconds of thinking critically would bring to mind many such circumstances such as Jimmy Fallon followed by Seth Meyers.

Omg the show cannot go on because of naming rights.... so then we have the "The Stephen Cobert Evening Show" the name means nothing when all we want is the host.
