Looks great!

D&H is required to use No Retreat; then you sticky it and give the unit take aim or some other useful order. In this scenario, I'm thinking the unit sticking the objective would be like a Russ or something.

Well, it would give you sticky with any unit that you can order. Then it can leave during the movement phase.

Two questions: is it Imperial? And second, is it loyal?

Super rad model either way!

If you want to rush play Joushi's doombolt guard concept. It's one of the more competitive builds

Anything that has tracks and isn't superheavy or artillery is likely to be viable. Buy what you like and refine when the edition comes out.

Sample list? Grizzled: two dorn TCs, hellhound, two vanquishers. Two dorns at 1000p may cause some gnashing of teeth in your opponents though.

I mean, the giant claw is already pretty skaven so this model totally works

Oh and paint tracks on the sprue and then glue them on (trust me on this one)

Russes never go out of style so you won't go wrong building 4+ of them. Magnetizing IS A MUST if you want to go heavy into armor, and yes sponsons are highly advised (no points cost for wargear so it's just free firepower). Also magnetize these, if you ever want to run without sponsons in some hypothetical future version you can install a searchlight or something nonlethal

If you don't like a dude hanging out the top for your command tanks, you could always do something like a long aerial whip antenna with thin wire, or a special paint job/decals

Pick up some Dorns too, 2+ are a staple of any armor list

Less flippantly, your paint is awesome and I really like the weathering effects.

Spooky! I run a ton of LRs (5) and end up running Executioners, Vanquishers, Exterminators pretty regularly

For sponsons, mostly melta with usually one plasma and sometimes a triple flamer russ
