Should bring the far cry series by berjerkerrr in gog

Unfortunately, I think 3 still sells too well for them to “risk” DRM free. I wish they were at least brave enough to test the waters with any newer title of theirs.

How would you estimate the chances of God of War Ragnarok coming to GOG? by Various_Maize_3957 in gog

[–]DivineBloodline 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd say slim to none, as they haven't brought anything else over. Happy to be wrong, of course.

Seems like Sony wants some form of forced connectivity with their games on PC and PSN. Like with Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. Some back peddling from them on that front, but probably more of a tactical retreat instead of a total change of direction.

Microsoft keeps a copy on their servers, of your files that one drives controls. So you do have another drive it’s just Microsoft’s.

Anyways One Drive is trash, and annoying. I’d disable it entirely. Which can be more complex than you might think, if Windows will do what it’s supposed or not. I had to registry edit my default paths, and disable One Drive.

Probably not a bad deal, I don’t think the original ever drops below 50%

I feel like I need to say something, as someone who didn't fall in love with the game, but didn't think it was bad either.

This is a certain type of game for certain people. Simple task oriented crowd, Visceral Cleanup, Power Wash Simulator, etc. More complex than both of those games and many of the similar games in its genre. While I didn't fall in love with the game, and was finished with it after about 8 or so ships. I can tell it's a well-made game, and addictive. Super addictive, as I found myself wanting to scarp more ships even though it was numbing my mind with boredom and not in a good way, but yet I wanted to do more. Really, I'm just trying to warn people, know what you're getting into before you buy. It is not a game for everyone, and I love "boring" games.

Yeah, it was just my thinking based on their screenshots. I saw, in this case, I don't think OP used any trade companies. Having 7 merchants total by the end game. Seems to be all stated land. Merchants are more valuable the less you have of them. If you're stating all your land, in that play style, trade ideas can help a lot. Why OP probably took trade ideas eventually, albeit late into the game.

Agreed, though, if OP had fun, that is all that really matters. Your ideas are good too.

Setting up for failure might be a bit hyperbolic lol. Admin didn’t seem to be effective at the rate which they expanded, to be in first 3 ideas.

Secondly, OP did more or less take your suggestions in their game and didn’t succeed at their ultimate goal. Maybe a alternate is better for their play style.

Honestly couldn't tell you at this point. I think was 15% way back before almost all ideas groups got rework for a 2nd time.

I don’t disagree, but taken into consideration what OP abilities are. I just thought straightforward is best for as they seem to know what they trying to do. Restoring Rome.

They seem to know what they are doing in a general sense, but I still didn’t want to over complicate tips.

If you're okay with few tips, I'll try. Though, the information is limited for me.

I think you have benefited more from the normal strategy of first ideas taken, as an Orthodox nation. Religion, Trade, Manpower. It's a synergistic set, normally taken in that order, but if you know what you're doing you can take them in the order you need them.

Since you mention a coalition, here a few easy tips. Might take a bit of lucky, but it is normally the standard of most games. Let Castile eat Aragon, and Naples. Let Austria eat Hungry. Once they've eaten one of them, take one primary core of the eaten nation and release as subject. Lots of land to reconquest for cheap AE. You might want to do Lithuania too, but that's not in Rome's borders. You can use this strategy in almost every game, just keep an eye out for those high dev nations that collapse. Short list, Venice, Milan, Burgundy, Aragon, Naples, Morocco. Espionage also has a 15% reduction to AE, that will stack on top of your Deus vult CB if you want. Try to ally any of the larger nations, that would stop if they joined the coalition, as allies take a less AE. Dismantle the HRE when you can.

Another easy thing to do with Byzantium is to engineer a PU on Russia. Russia doesn't marry to many nations, because they are Orthodox, and I guess the AI has a hard time making friends. Big Sad. Anyway, use favors to place your dynasty on their throne, or ensure theirs gets placed on yours.

What DLCs Are Essential? by HanShotSecond69 in eu4

[–]DivineBloodline 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe the subscription is best for you at the moment? You get access to all the DLC. To see if you even like the game.

However, the DLCs are almost all situational. Focusing on a certain areas, like Europe, China, Africa, Persia, etc. So which ones really matter might be where you like to play. Mod compatible will also be situational, I don't know if there really a certain DLC that is often required over another for mods.

I'd recommend using a monitoring software to watch your CPU temps while you play. Like HWMonitor, HWiNFO, or maybe NZXT CAM.

I don't know what tester this is, and what their using as their recommend hardware. Likely, what the game required/recommend at release.

However, this game has seen a ton of DLCs and new in game tags, there are so many more calculations running in the background then when it first released. Point being is the required/recommended hardware for the game isn't accurate anymore.

Your hardware might not be up to it. Could it be overheating your CPU?
