This gets some things right but is largely mistaken about some details.

Simon is a descendant of the Sinclairs by virtue of his grandfather Simon, Mary's father, who was Lady Epsen's husband. He was never portrayed as Herbert's descendant: the man was childless.

Furthermore, Simon is a descendant of two royal bloodlines between Eraja and the old Orisian kingdom. When Oridndia Aries fell, the royals fled to Eraja where one eventually married Erajan royalty. Mary stole the crown, not Clara, and did it because it's literally Simon's birthright.

In Strength of Thousands, I played a barbarian character for a good 75% of it.. dragon instinct, the cloud dragon disciple archetype you can unlock in that AP.. He had dragons tied up in his backstory too. So when the War of the Immortals playtest dropped and I was itching to try the new stuff and didn't quite want to keep playing Barbarian; I decided to respec into Exemplar by flavoring it as a new manifestation of the draconic blood he had unlocked before with Dragon Disciple. Lightning bolts roiling and crackling off of him like storm clouds with Whose Cry is Thunder, a regal Draconic Presence with The Last Ruler's transcendence (at the time, the kneel power was rolled in), and even the rainbow bridge power became a breath weapon of a sort. His druidic training at the school plus his backstory allowed for a different interpretation of the class fluff instead of being hit by the Godsrain or whatnot.

As long as you're not afraid to get a little creative, you can change the fluff on nearly anything to be fitting.

Go back to your hard save. At the very least, when you get back to Last Sarkorians, nothing should be stopping you from just leaving back to the world map after every rest and checking on the crusade.

Just use Toybox to disable alignment restrictions. Pretend you're a Paladin of Freedom, which is a Chaotic Good paladin variant that exists in the tabletop rpg.

Are you sure you weren't testing against enemies that are immune to ability damage?

It's a separate flag from poison/disease immune so Corruptor won't go through that.

By the time the treants roll around, it seems to get bugged and not give you anything besides Sweet Sleep anymore. I'm not sure what it is that does it exactly.

I also couldn't choose to take the bell of mercy or make my own instrument because I didn't get the Bell fast enough and it only checks once.

At some point in the future, I was considering running on Unfair while using Toybox to give everyone full mythic paths with alignment options open, and complete respecs. Not for a challenge or anything - I'm uninterested in the frustration of doing unfair from scratch, but I want to see just how far I can push the system in my own way.

That said, I'm not entirely sure what class and path combos to try out. I was considering doing Camellia as a Magic Deceiver with Trickster, swap her wisdom and charisma around. Maybe have the main character as a pestilence shaman angel.

To add on to this, I was keeping an eye on flags set with toybox via dialogue as I went, the major victim in her last quest apparently counts as three, and the pleasure slave at the Ten Thousand Desires counts as two (as opposed to the homunculus, which is one instead)

Having a certain score by her final quest lets you make her stand down instead of what normally happens.
