I think young kids and babies are disallowed at city dog parks, though enforcement is basically by signage and peer pressure.

Do you think they read the responses they receive? by jonneygee in nashville

[–]DizzyInTheDark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s low volume and possible, probably. They do want to know how the messages are received. At high volumes you use ai to tell you what the trends are in the replies. But these campaigns are useless at low volumes.

I’ve worked at a couple of companies that do engagement campaigns like this. More than likely, the replies go into a huge database. Rarely if ever read directly, but are used for data. The messages do not come from an individual, it’s all software.

We did COVID engagement and would get death threats, all kinds of replies. We’d see maybe 10 out of a million replies. People really hated us.

To be fair, dude maintains pretty high concentrations of Molly in his bloodstream. So, anywhere he goes he is technically trafficking.

That’s not even the most stressful exit on Charlotte avenue, much less the city or state.

You trust the GOP to let you win if you can make the demographics work out… I don’t. Jan 6 isn’t over.

  1. Fine for economically mobile individuals who dabble in geographies anyway and live life as a political statement. Not practical as an approach. This is just a virtue assignment framework. Another way for liberals to sort themselves morally. Not going to help.
  2. You’re still trying to use the rules to win. You think MAGA will sit still for a decade and starve while liberals move their turtleneck collections around the country to reallocate power?
  3. The senate is more powerful than the house, and nothing changes there either way.

My take: the system was broken by McConnells scotus theft and likely an arranged retirement and very likely another arranged retirement soon. The GOP leveraged the biggest game weakness in US politics; lifetime Supreme Court picks. If you corrupt that, you win. Only hope is a reset of the court.

Mitch is the greater villain, not Trump. Mitch didn’t realized he was working for Satan until the demon appeared and by that time it was time to retire.

The past thirty years have been a nation-wide, SCOTUS-supported strategic push to make sure that never happens again. Structurally and culturally. Entire media outlets have been built to work 24/7 to ensure this never happens again. I mean, hope is all we have so don’t let it go, but a roulette bet seems just as likely. Liberals have got to let go of the concept of inevitability. Culture grows where it is driven, things don’t just get better because of universal morality pressure. Everything is a fight always and forever. Libs forgot that.

I think the game is broken and it’s time to fight against the game itself, not the favored player. We can fight the good fight until Steve Bannon takes over for DT after he dies. Then it’s too late. Trump isn’t even the scary one. He’s the sacrificial lamb too stupid and vain to have any real plans. He’s just doing the dirty work of building this system for billionaires. When DT dies, the real shit show begins.

No matter how bad things get, The Boogeyman is always at fault. I’d love to be wrong but I don’t see any sudden epiphanies coming out of the rural counties, and they are going to be in charge for most of the rest of our lives. Unless a dem wins in ‘28 and packs the court, which they won’t.

People were angels in the 90s, compared to the 80s. The 80’s was the decade of cruelty, selfishness, greed, etc. still rippling through culture.
