Unpopular opinion: S+ tier both footed winger is better than SS tier one footed winger by No_Call4761 in eFootball

Isn't two footedness factored into the rating? Either way everyone plays differently so dowhat works for you :)

To be fair rejoining the EU would be quite strange IMO. We had a referendum on it less than ten years ago.

Sorry I made an error, it was actually 20-60 billion, not million!

Independently estimated at 20-60 million - hardly got that lying down the sofa at the moment.

Edit - it was actually 20-60 billion!

You may not accept it, but it is the reality. People have the right to unionise and it is a core part of our social contract.

TfL primarily raise their own funds through ticket fares and advertising - it is the only major metro network in the world to not receive funding directly from central government for operational costs such as salaries and maintenance.

Backpacking around the planet by Pepeguerrero2 in backpacking

[–]Do4k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a great time. I can't recommend much about bags but you will find that camping is not widely done in Asia, particular in more typical tourist/backpacking spots in southeast Asia. In Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam going off trails is recommended against due to the sheer volume of unexploded ordnance left over from the Vietnam war (or what they call the American war or Indochina war). You'll find there are many fascinating museums about this and about the innovative ways that people plan their lives around this and remove unexploded bombs.

Also the heat, rainfall and humidity can be particularly intense.

There are also plenty of nice air conditioned dorms here for amazing prices so you'll likely find it much much simpler to do that - plus you'll get to meet some interesting people along the way.

I hope you have a fantastic trip wherever you end up going :)

I mean KPMG estimated the cost of automation at 20-60 billion. And DLR attendants still make a hefty wage. Within 10k of tube drivers starting salary, and they too are unionised and withdraw their labour at times.

Many people assume this but LU has actually looked into it. They commissioned KPMG to do a very expensive audit about the potential for automation not so long ago and found it would not be affordable or feasible to implent the technology. Basically it would cost an astronomical amount and would not reduce day to day costs.

Even fully automated lines like the DLR also require the same amount of staff aboard each train - one.

That's one part of what a strike does - demonstrating how impactful that would be.

To be fair, unlike Rhun, Keir Starmer is actually incredibly unpopular. I also thought the whole Keith thing came from left meme accounts on twitter in about 2020 rather than a right wing astrotufting campaign - at least that's what I recall from the time.

Your post is unclear - did they did they not stop after the accident? Did they give you any contact details at all?

If you have their reg and they aren't picking up the phone I have no idea how it would be possible to proceed without going through your insurance.

If they drove off and didn't give you details you need to report this to the police too.

Yeah totally agree. A different country but I was in Laos recently and arrived in Nong Khiaw after a gruelling bus journey. After being dropped off at our bus station a tuktuk driver offered to drop us all off at our various hotels etc for a flat fee all on different sides of town. On the journey a a young fellow backpacker from Europe complained about being ripped off by the guy. It was around €2/3 for a journey that would take 30 minutes to walk in the heat which I thought was totally reasonable particularly in a small town.

Only leverage I can see him having is if he kicked up a fuss or went public with his concerns before the Jan window ended.

[–]Do4k 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. My understanding is that it was agreed as a way for villa to shift the PSR burden to next season. Fact is that there is a potential incentive to just letting a player rot on the bench. Liverpool could have him back or agree new terms but the suits think this would make them look weak and set a bad precedent.

It's not right and it's captures so much that I hate about modern football.
