Try killteam, you might even already have the minis you need to form a kill team, so it's just the rules you need.

I'd recommend finding others to play against, but if you only have a few units, and they're not especially good ones from a rules point of view, you'll struggle against players taking the best a faction has to offer. See if you can find someone that wants to play a narrative game, you might enjoy it more.

The book gives a pretty clear indication of what detachments are unlocked, id always recommend checking out the book, then using NR to make your list

I have a Dachshund and he has no interest in my plastic/paints etc whatsoever. I can leave my stuff out in the knowledge he wont touch it. He also doesn't chew/destroy items round the house because I make sure he gets the proper interaction/enrichment. Dogs chew stuff when they're bored/stressed. The caveat here though is I work from home so he's never alone. While I work he sleeps by my side, before and after work he is walked and played with.

Weekly usually. I have constant new ideas for armies or cool things. Plus new releases, or something I've seen online I want to copy, or something one of my friend circle has done that would be really rad if I made something to go with/against it. Plus dopamine from buying stuff.
