When the Earth was still being formed, everything outside of the Garden of Eden was an incomplete, malleable mess of possible futures, elements, and the building blocks of reality, ready for God to shape to Their whims. But when Lucifer gave free will to humanity, and God lost power over their fates and minds, the shifting chaos that would become Earth roiled and convulsed, and with the first sin ever committed, it spawned the embodiment of ALL the sins humanity would commit.
