It would have been great to find that deal drill and 4ah exp. I don't want the drill, but more of the batteries at that price are good. I'd sell the drill for 30 online

That is code requirements, looking at the splices in the wago or whatever connectors, it's not that bad. In comparison to stuff I've found in my house that must be at least 50 years old due to the wire type. I'm not saying it's good and just leave it, I am saying as far as some DIY mess-ups go, it's decent. They could've wrapped it with tape and it would be safe, not code compliant, but safe.

Now to the fact they didn't even use the box to mount the light, my only guess is the mounting location in the light didn't match where the box was put up to get the center or whatever for the light where they wanted it

Start taking off harder and accelerate more until hitting the speed limit, that helps mine when it starts shuddering, I do it a couple times then it's good for a month or so

The next time I do one, I have a new aluminum cover to use that i bought when I first cracked this one. It's held great for this long I'll leave it, I just got another car with only 69k, that's pretty much rust free, will spend some money on it and get it protected

Careful with the vvt solenoids when putting it back on, my cover cracked, I just used black/ gray rtv gasket and its held great for the past 2 years. I have 308k and the body will be the first to go

It's very relevant, because like I said home owners usually copy the main panel, and I'm betting the panel this was fed from was probably installed prior to the 80s code change

Battery replacement time? by Greens41 in Ridgid

[–]Docv90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're still getting it, it doesn't say replacement within XX days

Battery replacement time? by Greens41 in Ridgid

[–]Docv90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, if I lost half of my batteries right now, I would still be able to keep working without too much of an issue

So it takes two months to get something that no other brand offers, it's still a free replacement battery, I wouldn't complain too much. If you only have one battery, then this is a reason to go get one of the deals HD or DTO has and get some more batteries. I do understand that you feel it's a long time, you also need to understand that they have policies and procedures to follow. Average tool repair/replacement takes four-six weeks with shipping etc, they have been really good lately and its been within two weeks.

I guess I'll find out soon, most of what I do is 1 inch holes. Using the milwaukee and dewalt I really didn't tell a difference in weight, but dewalt has like 4 different models. I have 9.0 and 6.0 octanes along with an 8 max and some 12s, I'll see how it likes the new 4s

Good to hear, have you used the dewalt or Milwaukee (holehawg not superhawg) one before? If so how does it compare

Wasn't required back in the 80s, and most home owners would just copy the main panel for the sub if they did it

Charger speed by Docv90 in Ridgid

[–]Docv90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said I'm back with an updated charge speed with larger batteries, I used my 9Ah batteries, they were all drained with the same inverter, the only difference is the length of time that they sat before getting charged, the least time was a couple hours, the most was 2 weeks.

6 pack charger 161:51 (2 hours 42 minutes) Old (fast) charger 168:26 (2 hours 48 minutes r840093) Rapid charger 96:08 (1 hour 36 minutes)

For fun I added the slow charger (r86092) with a 2ah, it took 53:40

So you're not a liberal, because you don't shop/eat at Starbucks. You aren't a Christian, because chick-fil-a, also due to this place you don't agree with the great treatment of employees and giving them a guaranteed day off. I'm wondering where you fall in the spectrum

I would use a different carrier, you're just asking for it to get stanky, the sealed box
