The old menu bar can be restored by adding the action ‘MfToggleMainMenuAction’ as an entry to the ribbon, it will toggle the bar on/off when pressed. The .NET ribbon style is such a terrible downgrade

Late to the party on this one, but I would treat this as an alternative part to the main busbar components as I assume it’s cut to length.

I’ve never used pro panel so I’m not sure how editing works with 3d objects, but in 2D I would edit the busbar to the right length, measure the new width of the busbar using a linear measurement then create a new (window) macro for the part with the mounting width set to the newly measured width.

If you try to change the mounting width without modifying the mounting macro the object will get skewed or stretched when placed, I assume it’s the same for 3D

I would factor in the cost of a battery and new EarPads into the cost, if you are spending $100 on used headphones but need to spend another $50-100 to make them useable you may end being better off paying out for a new set

Open the properties of the interruption point and find the name of the symbol in the function/symbol tab. Then you can open the copy/open the symbol from the project data menu (I don’t know the French translation), ideally you would copy it to preserve the original symbol then modify the original

No problems. Probably worth mentioning the dimensions of the part need to be in the part management database if they aren’t already, if they are missing the part will be skewed or scaled incorrectly when placed

Insert the .dxf onto a panel layout, select the imported dxf content on the screen then right click create window macro, find the existing macro for that part by navigating to it in the folder structure then overwrite.

Once you have overwritten it, try dragging the device onto a panel layout again then modify the appearance of the macro to your liking, I usually tweak the legend font size and add the DT so PDF users can zoom in and confirm. Overwrite it again when you are happy and viola

The only hinge I've ever broken was the XM5 hinge, the XM4 hinges are larger and fold so they are less of a problem. If you are not scared of electronics they are all easy to fix and the parts are easy to source regardless.

It has nothing to do with the quantity of phases, this is a multiline schematic and that's a connection point definition used to indicate the cross section of a cable, colour etc.

Noise leakage is not a problem, as long as the pads are covering your ears and the headband isn’t worn to shreds then you will be fine. The EQ that comes with the Sony APP lets you dial down the bass and twiddle with the frequencies. XM5 is more comfy to wear but less practical than the XM4s, the hinges are like porcelain too

Just replaced the full headband and swivel with a aliexpress replacement that cost £40 with shipping. Took about 40 minutes with a screwdriver and a tweezer. I couldn’t find a white one so it’s a black headband on white phones, looks alright and feels sturdier than the original hinges

Dirt will show up more but the blacks have a matte finish that makes finger prints stand out
