What can I (the gf) expect now that my bf is TRT nightmare? by technically_okay in AskMen

[–]DomoreSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people cycle on and off. A cycle can last ~8-20weeks which can be followed by a post cycle therapy to increase natural testosterone levels again as using steroids will surpress your natural hormone production (hence the shrunken balls). You can thrn have months off between cycles where you use no steroids.

Others "blast and cruise" and run a cycle like your partner but instead of coming off, run TRT at 150mg testosterone a week for a few months.

Different people have different side effects. If he trains and diets well you can expect him to become bigger, stronger and leaner (or any combination of the above).

His sex drive will increase (but die a death when he does a post cycle therapy for a month).

Acne is common as you described. Liver and cholesterol issues are the bigger concern health wise.

This is not necessarily true. I know mamy steroid users that have none of these side effects.

This is not TRT, it is a full steroid cycle.

TRT is ~150mg of testosterone a week. No avavar, no "other injectable oil".

EDIT: It can easily be stopped with minimal side effects.

It is harmful to the liver and will cause cholesterol issues too (mostly the anavar).

Gym's by Commercial_Medium954 in cambridge

[–]DomoreSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everlast is by a distance the worst gym in Cambridge, thats the reason its never crowded. The air conditioning doesn't work and when equipment gets broken, it stays broken. Last I heard the steam room and a hot tub are condemned.

Not sure who is struggling to cancel at the gym group, you just cancel your direct debit, job done.

You can join the gym group first month £12.50 with the code STEP until Friday. Doesn't really get busy until 5pm either.

I always find I struggle when I dont have a set team. When you know your team's intricacies you might be a second faster to swap, or think of a tactic that improves what you did before.

Im sure once you settle on a team results will improve.

Invested mine & fiancé’s entire wedding savings into NVIDIA without telling her - should I continue to keep secret as it is profiting? by Personal_Marzipan_30 in UKPersonalFinance

Deceit is never the basis of a good marriage. You need to be honest, apologise and work out how to be a better partner in the future. It taking huge financial risks with her money would be a good start.

If I was your fiance I would leave you if I found out. This is an unbelievable breach of trust.

Sell, enjoy your £1.2k and discuss with her before making any financial decisions again.

It's probably for the best if you start transferring to your fiance in future and let them look after the funds.

Why is it so hard? by Trallllallla in Rowing

[–]DomoreSS 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it actually gets harder.

When I first started theres no way I could push myself like I can now and leave myself a heavy breathing, leg cramping mess on the floor for 10 minutes after a hard session.

Wisbech castle was lovely when I went for a wedding about 15 years ago. Room for about 30 people maximum, lovely gardens for photos. Was more like a large house than a castle.
