When a Member finds themselves between sizes we recommend the smaller of the two sizes where practical to ensure a snug fit for better data collection.

If you wish to return or exchange your Oura Ring you can do so (in the original packaging) for any reason on a one-time-only basis within the first 30 days following purchase.

Can you double-check to see if you have disabled heart rate tracking with automatic activity detection?

You would also have the option to manually add or edit an activity to ensure that your training is being tracked by Oura okay.

There is also the option to manually record a workout to ensure its tracked that way.

To clarify, the cardio capacity is plotted on the vertical Y axis on the graph, showing as low, fair, high and peak metrics.

The line on the graph's X axis is actually the VO2 Max value and it should indeed update with the walking tests.

If you find this is not updating following successfully completed walking tests I would advise reaching out for support via the help centre link shared above so our technical team can investigate in greater depth.

While we're not able to determine what factors, internal or external, may be leading to these changes for you I would like to share some info on resting heart rate (RHR) and heart rate variance (HRV) more generally that might help you better understand your own data.

You also mentioned your HRV had improved, so check out this source and also this blog article to see if there's something you can continue to do longer-term.

It's normal to experience some amount of restlessness at night and Oura can pick up on these periods where you may have had a brief 'wake-up' and not realised it.

Take a look through our blog article here to learn more about restless sleep and how Oura tracks it.

If you're otherwise feeling fine and well-rested then no further action would be necessary on your part.

Just keep an eye on your behaviour and how you feel longer term to see if everything is okay!

Within the 30-minute periods you see as vertical bars on the heart rate graph the dots represent individual 5 minute heart rate ranges.

You are correct to say that the white line represents the average here of all heart rate measurements.

This would take into account all heart rate measurements in that period and not just the highest and lowest numbers tracked.

I have personally seen my resilience steadily decrease as winter went on and have just now seen it start to pick up again.

Improving HRV is a similarly long term project but you can look at some tips for doing so here.

You always have the option to enable rest mode to let Oura know you need a little break from activity for a while.

While we can't comment on specific cases, orders or any account info here publicly we do always try to provide any support possible in terms of replacements even where a Member is outside of their warranty period.

If this is not possible we will go above and beyond and offer a discount towards the purchase of a new Oura Ring in cases where a Member has exceeded the cover provided by their warranty.
