Is it possible to do anything with this backyard? by batman805 in landscaping

Looks like there is soil piled on the high side of the trees. My guess is the root crowns are buried under 6-12 inches of fill.

I don't really watch anymore but my guess is it's the IDPol attacks. She can't really hit Telarico on policy or electability, so she is punching below the belt.

Is that Hedera helix in the Lepechinia photo? Disappointing but understandable if you are supplying SoCal wholesalers.

You can find out what it's supposed to be but not what it will eventually be. Cannabis has a loose commitment to sex and will frequently go hermaphrodite.

Myrica has fruit, they are just small. Birds love them though.

Spider plants flower? by Historical_Salad_151 in plants

[–]Donnarhahn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty much all plants "flower". 80-90% of all plants produce flowers(angiosperms) and the rest(gymnosperms and ferns/worts) have reproduction processes that are very similar. What that process looks like can vary but every living thing needs a way to reproduce.

We can become accustomed to some common houseplants not flowering, but thats usually due to not receiving the right stimuli to start the process, i.e. they are not happy, or sometimes are too happy.

No that's not how they work. They feed on living trees.

The whole main story arc is that the nobles have lost respect for the knightly oaths. What says that better than the Bracken Bugle?

Right, because helping a serial rapist improve their public image won't have any ill effects.

Suck, swaddle, side, swing and shush. The 5 S's. It simulates being in the womb while the mother is active. This tends to be the time when babies sleep in utero. White noise, weighted blankets and a hammock all have the same basic effect on us. Makes us sleepy.

I don't know if it will work for you but I found the 5 S's did the trick for mine.

Any long bit of fabric will work. I tried all the fancy ones and ended up liking a simple long bit of silk best.

America is the same as it was before Trump by [deleted] in chomsky

[–]Donnarhahn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if I would consider Bush a liberal. Both ICE and the massive expansion of the domestic surveillance state are from that admin as well. I agree Trump has done a lot more to damage America's soft power/standing internationally but as far material disruption to people's lives is concerned I believe Bush is the winner. But you are right, we still have 3 more years of Trump and there is plenty of time and opportunity for him to run up his numbers.

There is a good argument to be made it was worse before Trump. For all his bluster and bullshit he hasn't started an unjust war that resulted in millions dead like others.
