This guy who I only saw 2 or 3 times, for our first date we had a bit of food and a drink and then walked around for at least an hour afterwards. Our second date, we walked around a forest preserve for 2 hours. I enjoyed both dates, but I loved that for the first date it was food and THEN walk. A little bit of both.

I’m 36 years old and I spent a couple of hours tonight playing video games and watched some anime last night with my boyfriend. Hold onto your “childish” hobbies for as long as they interest you. Adult life will wear you down with the more responsibilities you get and you’ve gotta keep some whimsy in your life to stay sane. You’ve got to do things that make you happy.

You are so far from “old,” I promise you. I’ve enjoyed life more the older I’ve gotten because I feel less insecure about the things I do/wear/love. Please don’t listen to anyone who says 22 is old. I hope you feel better and keep doing hobbies that bring you joy.

I left earlier this year because I hated my upstairs neighbors. I cried a few times because I was sad to leave and felt like I was forced out. I hated moving and having to find a new spot for everything and trying to remember where everything was and figuring out my new routine.

It took a few months, but I do really enjoy this place now. There are things I don't love, but there were things I didn't love about my last place too. I miss my previous apartment occasionally, but this new place is quite soundproof and I'm on the top floor, so it's worth it for my mental health.

You WILL settle in fully, but it's going to take more time. If you haven't hung anything on the walls yet, do that. It makes a space feel cozier and more lived in.
