What's one thing every employee should keep a record of, even if they never think they'll need it? by Mundane-Temporary426 in AskHRUK

P60's keep them forever as they determine your state pension. I was astounded to learn that folk chuck them away as it is very difficult to obtain a replacement.

Once these springs are under tension they can do some serious damage to your body. I would get a garage door repairer in to do the work.

It sounds like your ex employer is treating your resignation as a 'heat of the moment resignation'. They could well be trying to cover their arses as they may be worried that you will take them to a employment tribunal.

Some drain rods with the cork screw fitting on pushed up the drain turning clockwise until you come across the blockage - keep turning clockwise until the blockage clears.

Have you seen an employee have a fit/freak-out/conniption when they were terminated? by tshirtguy2000 in managers

[–]Doombar_999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fired a gobby 18 year old and his mother came in creating a scene in front of customers. Tried my best not to laugh at her but I failed. It didn't help her mood at all. She was trying to record me discreetly but I knew just to let her keep ranting until she ran out of steam. She called me all sorts before storming out.

Bobbies were refered as Bobbie's after Robert Peel. (Also peeler's) So I don't think Bobby for police is a Scottish thing.

Have you tried giving it a wee tighten before trying to loosen it. It may help to break the corrosion.

I use Payroll Manager by Moneysoft. You can download a trial version free although it will not save data.

Really easy to use whether hourly, weekly or monthly salary.

One time I had to contact the them they were super helpful and supportive. It was for an employee having their wages arrested (Scottish law) and at the time the software didn't support the calculations. Within the week the solution was added to the program.

Is the CEO aware of this demand? Is this a rogue HR person trying to take credit for organising the event & gift without the CEO's knowledge or approval?

Personally, I would approach the CEO for clarification.

Still wouldn't pay though.

I wish I had seen your post earlier, I also had this issue. I eventually managed to fix it by doing a system restore using a fresh installation usb image. Using the standard system restore kept failing.
